Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), Southside
Provides an organization of victims, survivors, and concerned citizens with the determination to reduce deaths and injuries resulting from driving under the influence. Offered are newsletters, updates on current legislation, and drunk driving information. MADD is dedicated to assisting victims of drunk-driving crashes. Through crisis intervention, victim support groups, victim advocacy, judicial process, victim impact panels, and giving victims a chance to relate their ordeals to the convicted drunk drivers, the victim's suffering, grief, anger, and confusion is eased.
